How SolidFound Verification Works — And Why It Matters
Learn about Basic and Full verification, and why a verified profile leads to more hires.
Trust is the foundation of any labor marketplace. SolidFound's verification system is built to protect both workers and employers.
Basic Verification
Every user on SolidFound can complete Basic Verification. This confirms your identity and earns you a verified badge on your profile. Verified users consistently get more responses, more hires, and better opportunities than unverified users.
Full Identity Verification
Full Verification uses Stripe Identity — a secure, government-grade identity verification system — to confirm your government-issued ID and match it to your face through a biometric selfie. This level of verification is required for certain features on the platform and is strongly recommended for all users.
Why Verification Matters for Workers
A verification badge signals that you're serious, professional, and trustworthy. Many employers on SolidFound filter applicants to verified-only. Being verified is often the deciding factor when an employer is choosing between two equally qualified candidates.
Why Verification Matters for Employers
Verified employer profiles show workers that the job posting is legitimate. Workers are more likely to apply to, bid on, and show up for jobs posted by verified employers.
Privacy and Security
SolidFound never sells your personal information. Verification data is processed securely by Stripe and is not stored on SolidFound's servers.
